This 4th of July I got to announce the Grand Freedom Festival Parade in Provo! It was amazing. First of all, I LOVE the parade! It is in my hometown and I have been going since I can remember. Secondly, I LOVE the 4th of July and the patriotism that everyone shows! I did the broadcasting for Channel 17. Their crew was SO kind and so helpful to me, a newcomer who knew nothing about broadcasting or behind the scenes television work. I now know some technical terms and am on my way to becoming a professional broadcaster... just kidding... I'll stick with Anesthesiology! It sure was fun though! :)

I wanted to strap my crown to it, I just couldn't figure out how... ;)I am so grateful to live in America where we have the freedom to choose what we want in life and have the opportunities to be the best we can be. I love America and am so thankful for our troops and their sacrifices!
I am proud to be an American!
