Fun Day with Jeanette, MAOT!

What a wonderful day! We met at The Primrose Retreat for a little pedicure pampering. Thanks, Amy! You are the best. Next, we went to the state capital building. It was restored about five years ago. It was amazing to walk through and see all of the paintings on the ceilings and the marble pillars and stairs. Then, we went to the Joseph Smith Memorial building that was once the Hotel Utah. Temple Square is right next door so we walked around the grounds and took pictures in front of the temple. It was awesome to share a little Utah pioneer history with Jeanette. I am so grateful for the early pioneers and their sacrifice to build such beautiful buildings! We had lunch on the bottom floor of the Joseph Smith Memorial Building in the Nauvoo Cafe. It was so YUMMY!  Then, it was time to head to Amy's to get ready for Whitney's Send Off!

It has been so great getting to know Jeanette the past few days. She is a doll. I am so happy that she came to Utah. We have done lots of fun things together. I will look forward to seeing her at Miss America.
