Promoting the Buddy Box!

Jeanette met us at Timpview High School where we started an exciting day of promoting the Buddy Box all the way from Provo to Cache Valley. At Timpview, we met with their student government and I explained the Buddy Box program. We talked about ways they could promote the use of the Buddy Box in their school to get students the help they need with the problems they are facing. It was a great discussion and I feel confident that they will do a great job promoting the program. Jeanette also spoke with them about the Buddy Box and the power that each person posses to make a difference for someone else.

Next, we went to Box Elder High School and met with administration to arrange to meet with student government as well as so an assembly on the Buddy Box.

We had a wonderful lunch at Maddox Steak House. The rolls were especially yummy with their secret recipe raspberry spread! We also ordered three desserts to share. Wow, they were amazing! We ate until we were stuffed!

We ordered 3 enourmous desserts!
After lunch we went to Millville Elementary where we had the opportunity of reading to several classes before doing an assembly for the whole school on the Buddy Box. It was so fun to promote the Buddy Box with Elementary students. They are so willing to talk about bullying and want to get help so that everyone will be nice to each other. The assembly went really well. We read them the book The Recess Queen and talked to them about bullies. At the end of the assembly, I sang The Climb and Jeanette sang I Hope You Dance. The kids were awesome!

Jeanette and I taking turns reading the book.
