State Student Services/ Superintendant Meeting In St. George
WOW! This was a wonderful opportunity. On Monday March 22nd, I had the honor of speaking at the State Student Services Meeting, in St. George Utah. Dawn Stevenson invited me to participate in this meeting in January and it was awesome to finally have it here. She has been such a great supporter of my platform and I thank her for everything. I took over 200 Buddy Box kits in the back of my truck to give to the superintendents and Student Services Directors in that area. My mom and I started our weekend on Friday, made an appearance for Meadow Gold on Saturday and then spent the weekend working! We did a little bit of playing, but focused most of our time getting the boxes in the right places and in order.
Then on Monday morning I was able to go and speak to the directors. The meeting went SO WELL and I was very happy with the end results. The best part about it- after that meeting, 3/4 of the School Districts in Utah now have Buddy Boxes!!!!!! It will make such a difference in their schools! I am so excited to have my platform in all of these schools! Hopefully I will be able to get the rest of the boxes in all 900 schools in Utah!
