On April 1st, Barbara Blotter invited me to speak to all of the counselors in the Nebo School District, and of course, present them THIRTY NINE Buddy Boxes. It was rewarding to be able to share success stories about students across the state who have used the Buddy Box. Everyone there was very excited to have the Buddy Box implemented into their schools. I hope that the program will be affective in their schools and make a difference in their student's lives.
Other Activities During the Day.....
My wonderful director, Amy, and her two boys Dawson and Carter came to support me during the presentation at Nebo School District. After, we went and ate some lunch at a little restaurant with yummy food! Then we did a little shopping--of course! :)
Later that day, I was able to go and prepare my song for Nationals with probably the most musically talented man I have ever met. Dustin was one of my judges for Miss Utah's Outstanding Teen and he graciously offered his time to help me find a song. He helped me put together something pretty amazing. I am so excited!!! Also, congratulations Dustin on your new baby boy!!!
