Canyon Elementary

Oh what a fun appearance! I LOVE visiting elementary school kids they are SO cute! All of the third grade classes had been doing End of Level State Testing for the entire week. The teachers asked me to come and speak to the students as a reward for working so hard on their tests. I showed them my blog, and talked to them about all of the very fun experiences that I have had so far as Miss Utah's Outstanding Teen. We then read two very cute books, and I sang to them a couple of songs. One of the songs I sang for them was The Climb, because what third grade girl does not love Hannah Montana. When I told them what I was going to sing all the girls screamed and got very excited. However, in the midst of the excited girls one little boy in the front looked up and me and with this little voice said to me, "Oh my heck! I cannot stand this song", then he grabbed his head. It was so funny!! As I started to sing girls slowly started to join in with me. By the end of the song all the girls were singing their little lungs out, there was even a few boys who joined in. I had a great time. It was so much fun!
