Peer Leadership Teams Keynote Speaker

July 28th I was privileged to be the keynote speaker at a Peer Leadership Team conference in South Jordan. There were 150 students in attendance who are all service minded and truly care about making a positive difference for others. I was asked to speak on the power that one person has to make a change in the world. I read them one of my favorite quotes from Gandhi about being the change they wish to see in the world. I then encouraged them to find the things they are passionate about and come up with a plan to make it happen. I was able to share my experience with them about the Buddy Box and how this simple life changing idea has spread across the state of Utah and next year will travel across the United States. I believe with all my heart that everyone has the ability to make a difference in the world.
