The contestants have worked hard! They are prepared and ready to compete! It has been so fun getting to know the girls. Everyone seems to be having a great time.
We had our first preliminary night last night. The girls arrived at 8:00 in the morning and started talent rehearsal and completed their private interview. The pageant started at 7:00 and the Covey Center was packed! They competed in talent and evening gown. Wow, stiff competition! Everyone did amazing.
I had the opportunity to emcee with Jake. It was really fun. I also performed Someone Like You from Jekyle and Hyde.
Today at 2:00 their is another preliminary where the girls will compete in physical fitness and on stage questions.
The final pageant begins at 7:00 tonight! I am so excited for the next Miss Utah's Outstanding Teen!
